I have some updates to share with you all about the future of this blog...

If you can and have the means, I highly recommend donating to Family Meal, a Portland-based nonprofit designed to help food service and agricultural workers during a medical debt crisis. Your help right now is needed more than ever. Thank you.

Hi hi, everyone! I have been overwhelmed with homework lately and also been doing a lot in the backend to make this blog a bit more polished and not just my diary/self-affirmation corner.

In the meantime, I’ve got some great series ideas in mind and working behind the scenes to publish them soon – but with my break last week and then more life stuff coming up while trying to finish writing… it’s still not enough time to finish writing everything.

So, in trying to make everything work, I’ve decided some changes need to be made: my posting schedule.

I’ve decided to post every other Thursday, starting this week. So this week will have two(ish) posts! The blogs will be better quality for sure, and actually move in the direction that I’ve been wanting for ages.

Also, I could not post a video every week for #cookJan – it was just too ambitious on my part. I’ll try to be putting out videos as often as I can, because I actually like making them, but it’s a matter of everything else in life needing to come first…. even though I have a bunch of stuff recorded, it’ll be some time before they get released.

Thanks again for your continued support in all my endeavors, I am always so thankful for seeing people engage and take positive things away from my work. Well, that’s it for now. Sorry for no post again – keep your eyes peeled for Thursday’s post, it’s an exciting one!

In the meantime, here’s some work that has been going up on the Daily Emerald: my advice column on navigating having a crush but being commited, a piece about staying healthy amongst concerns for the “quarantine-15,” and the lessons I’ve learned from a term of trying new recipes.

Stay safe and well out there! Until Thursday ~

Have you eaten yet? If not, don’t forget to!

Em
